Did you spill RED WINE on your clothing? Did you find a RED WINE stain on your carpet well after your party, and it’s already dried and ruined your day? Did you try everything you could think of to get rid of it? For CLOTHING: First, check the label. If it’s Dry Clean ONLY, then don’t try at-home remedies. If not, and all else fails, try to get the stain out while it’s still wet. A solution of equal parts dish soap (like Dawn) and hydrogen peroxide may be blotted on and rinsed well with cool clean water. For CARPET: If all else fails, try mixing one part liquid dish soap (like Dawn) with two parts hydrogen peroxide. Sponge it on, blot it off (don’t wipe) and rinse well. As always, try it on a hidden spot of your clothing or carpet first!
