SERVICES AND SERVICE AREAS
What cleaning services does CleanFlorida provide?
CleanFlorida provides professional residential cleaning services for homeowners throughout Southwest Florida. Our services include recurring house cleaning, one-time cleaning, deep or Reset cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, Priority Cleaning, seasonal-home cleaning, and selected add-on services.
The exact tasks completed depend on the service you choose, the condition of the home, the time reserved, and any approved add-ons. Before your appointment, our team will help you select the service that best matches your home and priorities.
What is included in a standard house cleaning?
A standard house cleaning focuses on the routine cleaning needed to keep an already-maintained home fresh and comfortable. This generally includes cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, dusting accessible surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, emptying household trash, and addressing the agreed-upon rooms and areas.
The exact checklist may vary by service type. Specialty projects, heavy buildup, interior appliances, detailed handwork, and tasks requiring additional time may need to be scheduled as add-ons or as part of a deeper cleaning service.
What is the difference between a deep clean and recurring cleaning?
A deep or Reset cleaning is designed for a home that needs more time and detailed attention before regular maintenance begins. Recurring cleaning is designed to maintain the home after that initial buildup has been addressed.
A Reset cleaning may include more detailed work on buildup, baseboards, fixtures, cabinet fronts, and other areas that are not always included in routine maintenance. After the home is reset, weekly or biweekly service usually provides the best consistency.
Do you offer one-time house cleaning?
Yes. CleanFlorida offers one-time cleaning for homeowners who need help before or after an event, during a busy season, when preparing for guests, or simply when the home needs a professional reset.
One-time services are based on the condition of the home, your priorities, and the amount of time reserved. For homes that need ongoing support, we can also recommend a recurring schedule after the first visit.
Do you offer weekly, biweekly, and monthly cleaning?
Yes. CleanFlorida offers weekly, biweekly, and monthly recurring house cleaning, subject to availability and service minimums.
Biweekly cleaning is our most popular schedule because it provides a strong balance between consistency and cost. Weekly cleaning works well for busy households, larger homes, pets, allergies, and clients who prefer a consistently polished home. Monthly cleaning can work for lightly used homes, although more buildup may accumulate between visits.
How often should I have my home professionally cleaned?
Most occupied homes benefit from professional cleaning every one or two weeks. The right schedule depends on the size of the home, number of occupants, pets, lifestyle, allergies, entertaining, and how much cleaning is completed between visits.
Weekly service is often best for active households, pet owners, larger homes, and clients who want very little buildup. Biweekly service is the most common choice. Monthly service may be appropriate for lightly used or seasonal homes, but each visit may require more work.
Do you clean homes for seasonal residents and snowbirds?
Yes. CleanFlorida works with seasonal residents and homeowners who spend part of the year outside Southwest Florida. We can provide recurring cleaning while the home is occupied, arrival and departure cleaning, and scheduled service based on the home’s use.
Reliable access instructions and current contact information are especially important for seasonal properties. We recommend arranging a lockbox, keyless entry, garage code, or access through a trusted home-watch provider.
Do you clean luxury homes?
Yes. CleanFlorida has experience cleaning luxury residences and larger homes throughout the Naples area and Southwest Florida.
Luxury homes often include specialty surfaces, valuable furnishings, detailed access instructions, and household preferences that require clear documentation. We ask clients to identify delicate, irreplaceable, or no-touch items before service so our team can follow the appropriate care instructions.
Do you offer move-in and move-out cleaning?
Yes. CleanFlorida offers move-in and move-out cleaning for homes that are empty or nearly empty. These services are more detailed than routine maintenance cleaning and may require additional time depending on the size and condition of the property.
Please tell us whether the home will be vacant, whether appliances and cabinets need interior cleaning, and whether construction dust, debris, or heavy buildup is present so we can recommend the right service.
What is Priority Cleaning?
Priority Cleaning is a focused cleaning option for clients who want professional attention on selected areas of the home rather than a full-home cleaning.
This service works well when the kitchen, bathrooms, main living areas, or other high-priority spaces need attention within a defined time. Our team will help you identify which areas can reasonably be completed during the reserved service window.
Which areas does CleanFlorida serve?
CleanFlorida serves Naples and surrounding Southwest Florida communities, including Naples, North Naples, East Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Ave Maria, Fort Myers, and nearby service areas.
Availability can vary by neighborhood, route, and service type. Contact our office with your address so we can confirm whether your home is currently within our service area.
BOOKING, PRICING, AND PAYMENT
How do I book a cleaning with CleanFlorida?
You can request a quote by contacting CleanFlorida by phone or through our website. Our team will ask questions about the home, service type, condition, priorities, preferred schedule, pets, access, and any specialty surfaces or requests.
Most estimates can be completed remotely based on the information you provide and our experience cleaning thousands of homes. Once the service is selected, we will confirm the appointment, payment method, arrival window, and home-access instructions.
How much does professional house cleaning cost in Naples?
The cost of professional house cleaning in Naples depends on the size and condition of the home, the type of service, the cleaning frequency, the number of rooms or priority areas, and any add-ons requested.
Recurring maintenance cleaning generally costs less per visit than a first-time deep cleaning because the home is being maintained on a regular schedule. CleanFlorida provides a personalized estimate before booking so you know what service and time are being reserved.
Do you require an in-home estimate?
Most CleanFlorida estimates can be completed by phone without an in-home visit. Our pricing process is based on experience from thousands of residential cleanings and detailed questions about the home, its condition, and your priorities.
If the condition of the home is significantly different from what was described, additional time or a service adjustment may be needed. We will communicate with you if the team discovers that the requested work cannot be completed within the reserved time.
How do I pay for my cleaning service?
CleanFlorida requires an approved payment method before the first cleaning. Clients may place a credit card on file or enroll in ACH payment.
ACH payments do not have a processing fee. Credit-card payments may include the applicable processing fee. Payment is processed according to the service agreement after the cleaning is completed.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
No. CleanFlorida does not require a long-term cleaning contract.
Recurring clients agree to the company’s current service terms, payment policies, access requirements, cancellation policy, and other service conditions. You may change or discontinue service according to those terms.
Should I tip my cleaning technician?
Tipping is appreciated but never required. Clients who choose to tip often give approximately 10% to 15% of the service amount, a flat amount, or a holiday bonus.
The best way to recognize excellent work is to tip according to your comfort level, leave positive feedback, mention the technician by name in a review, or contact our office so we can recognize the team member internally.
Will I receive a receipt?
Yes. CleanFlorida provides electronic invoices and receipts. After payment is processed, the receipt is sent to the email address on your account.
If you need a duplicate receipt or billing documentation, contact our office and we will be happy to help.
SCHEDULING AND ARRIVAL
What arrival time should I expect?
CleanFlorida schedules service within an arrival window rather than guaranteeing an exact minute. Common arrival windows include morning and midday timeframes, depending on the route and service.
Travel time, the condition of earlier homes, traffic, and unexpected service needs can affect the schedule. Our office will communicate important changes whenever possible.
What if I need to reschedule, skip, or cancel a cleaning?
Please give CleanFlorida at least two business days’ notice when you need to reschedule, skip, or cancel an appointment. This notice allows us to adjust the technician’s route and offer the time to another client.
A $50 cancellation fee may apply when the required notice is not provided. Weekends and holidays are not counted as business days, so changes to a Monday appointment should be communicated before the weekend.
Can I change my recurring cleaning frequency?
Yes. You may request a change to weekly, biweekly, or monthly service, subject to availability, route capacity, and current pricing.
Because the amount of buildup changes when the frequency changes, the price and time reserved may also change. Contact our office before your next appointment so we can review the schedule and update your service correctly.
Will CleanFlorida ever cancel my cleaning because a technician is absent?
CleanFlorida works hard to honor scheduled recurring cleanings even when a regular technician is sick, on vacation, or unavailable. When possible, we assign another trained team member rather than canceling the appointment.
Occasionally, emergencies or severe weather may require a schedule change. If that happens, our office will communicate with you and work to provide the best available solution.
HOME ACCESS AND PREPARATION
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. You do not need to be home while CleanFlorida cleans your house. Many clients provide secure access and return after the service is complete.
Accepted access options may include a lockbox, keyless-entry code, garage code, a key left at the property, or access coordinated through a neighbor or home-watch company. The client is responsible for making sure the team can enter the home at the scheduled time.
Can CleanFlorida keep a key to my home?
No. CleanFlorida does not routinely keep client house keys.
We recommend a lockbox, keyless-entry code, garage code, or another secure access arrangement that remains under the homeowner’s control. Please keep your access instructions current and notify our office before changing a code.
What happens if the team cannot enter my home?
If our technician arrives and cannot access the home, the appointment may be treated as a lockout and a fee may apply. This is because the technician’s time and route were reserved for your service.
Before each visit, make sure the code works, the lockbox contains the correct key, gates are accessible, alarms are addressed, and anyone responsible for entry is available.
Do I need to clean before the cleaners arrive?
No, you do not need to clean before CleanFlorida arrives. A quick pickup, however, helps the technician spend more time cleaning and less time moving personal belongings.
For the best use of your reserved cleaning time, gather toys, clothing, paperwork, dishes, and loose items; clear kitchen and bathroom counters where practical; secure fragile belongings; and place laundry or personal items where they belong. Think of it as tidying for the cleaner, not cleaning for the cleaner.
How should I prepare for my first cleaning?
Before the first visit, provide accurate access instructions, identify pets, secure valuables and weapons, point out delicate or no-touch items, and tell us about specialty surfaces or products that require special care.
It also helps to identify your top priorities in case the home requires more work than can be completed during the reserved time. Clear communication allows the team to focus first on what matters most to you.
What arrival window can I choose?
CleanFlorida offers two convenient arrival windows so you can choose what works best for your schedule.
When scheduling your recurring service, you can choose one of these arrival windows:
- 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Rather than promising an exact arrival time weeks in advance, we schedule within these windows so we can account for traffic, weather, and the varying needs of each home while keeping our technicians on schedule.
To keep you informed every step of the way:
- The day before your cleaning: You'll receive a text message with a more precise one-hour estimated arrival window.
- The day of your cleaning: You'll receive another text letting you know "We're on our way!"
Our goal is to provide predictable scheduling while keeping you updated throughout the process.
At a glance:
✔ Choose either an 8–11 AM or 11 AM–2 PM arrival window.
✔ Receive a one-hour arrival estimate the day before your appointment.
✔ Receive a "We're on our way!" text when your technician is heading to your home.
TEAM, TRUST, AND COMMUNICATION
Who will come to clean my home?
Your home will be cleaned by a trained CleanFlorida cleaning technician or team assigned through our scheduling system. Routine recurring cleanings are often completed by one technician, while first-time, deep, move-in, move-out, or larger cleanings may require two or more team members.
CleanFlorida employees are trained in our cleaning systems, safety expectations, product use, client communication, and company policies before working independently in client homes.
Are CleanFlorida technicians background screened?
Yes. CleanFlorida technicians complete a nationwide background-screening process as part of our hiring and trust standards.
Background screening is one part of our hiring process. Team members also complete interviews, reference and employment review where applicable, training, safety education, and ongoing performance oversight.
Are you licensed and insured?
CleanFlorida is a professional cleaning company that carries business insurance and workers’ compensation coverage for its employees.
This protects both clients and team members in ways that may not be available when hiring an uninsured independent cleaner. Contact our office if you need a current certificate of insurance for a property manager, association, or other authorized purpose.
Do I need to provide workers’ compensation insurance for the cleaner?
No. CleanFlorida provides workers’ compensation coverage for its employees.
You are hiring an established cleaning company rather than employing the technician directly. Workers’ compensation coverage is important because residential cleaning is physical work and injuries can occur even when proper safety procedures are followed.
How many people will clean my home?
Most recurring maintenance cleanings are completed by one trained technician. This helps the technician become familiar with the home, its notes, and the client’s preferences.
Larger homes, first-time cleanings, deep cleanings, move-in or move-out services, and projects requiring more than several hours may be assigned to a team. Staffing can vary based on the service, route, and availability.
Will I have the same cleaning technician each time?
CleanFlorida makes every reasonable effort to provide consistency for recurring clients. Your regular technician is generally assigned to a geographic route and may clean your home on an ongoing basis.
We cannot guarantee the same individual for every visit. But you will see the same familiar faces each time. If your regular technician is sick, on vacation, in training, or no longer available, another trained technician may be assigned so your home can still be cleaned as scheduled. Detailed client notes help the substitute follow your preferences.
Can I request a different cleaning technician?
Yes. If the fit does not feel right, contact CleanFlorida management and request a change. We will handle the request privately and professionally.
Our goal is to create a service relationship in which you feel comfortable with both the cleaning and the people entering your home. A request for a change is treated as useful feedback, not as an awkward confrontation.
Do your technicians speak English?
CleanFlorida ensures that clients have access to an English-speaking team member. Some cleaning technicians may be multilingual or more comfortable communicating in another language, and our office and field-support team help ensure instructions are understood.
Important requests, schedule changes, or concerns should be sent through the office so they can be documented clearly in the client’s account.
How does CleanFlorida keep track of my preferences?
CleanFlorida maintains service notes for recurring clients, including access instructions, household preferences, approved priorities, pets, specialty surfaces, and other relevant details.
Please send important changes to the office rather than relying only on a verbal conversation at the home. This allows the information to be added to your account and available to any trained technician assigned to the service.
SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, AND SPECIALTY SURFACES
Does CleanFlorida bring cleaning supplies and equipment?
Yes. CleanFlorida brings the professional cleaning products, microfiber cloths, mops, and tools needed for the scheduled service.
We generally recommend that clients provide a household vacuum when possible. Using the home’s vacuum helps reduce the transfer of pet dander, allergens, and pests between properties because a vacuum cannot be fully disinfected between every home.
Can I ask the technician to use my cleaning products?
Yes. If you have a preferred product because of allergies, sensitivities, surface requirements, or personal preference, leave it clearly labeled and tell our office before the appointment.
CleanFlorida cannot guarantee the performance or safety of a client-provided product and may not be responsible for damage caused by that product. Never mix products, and make sure all instructions are available to the technician.
Does CleanFlorida use bleach?
CleanFlorida’s standard product system is generally bleach-free. If you specifically request bleach and provide it for an approved task, discuss the request with our office before the cleaning.
Bleach can discolor fabrics, damage finishes, and react dangerously with other products. We may decline to use it when the surface, ventilation, or conditions make its use unsafe.
Can CleanFlorida clean natural stone, travertine, marble, quartz, and specialty surfaces?
Yes, when the surface and care instructions are clearly identified. Southwest Florida homes often include travertine, marble, quartz, granite, specialty flooring, and other materials that require appropriate products and methods.
Tell our office about specialty surfaces before the first visit. If a surface requires a manufacturer-approved product, unusual treatment, restoration, sealing, polishing, or repair, that work may fall outside routine house cleaning.
What items or areas does CleanFlorida not clean?
For safety and damage prevention, CleanFlorida does not routinely clean inside curio cabinets, handle priceless art or irreplaceable collectibles, perform detailed cleaning of pianos, wipe metal or aluminum blinds, or hand-clean areas that cannot be safely reached from a standard step stool.
We may also decline biohazards, pest infestations, unsafe conditions, heavy lifting, exterior work, restoration, or tasks outside the agreed service scope. Please identify fragile or no-touch items on your client intake form.
PETS AND HOUSEHOLD SAFETY
What should I do with my pets during the cleaning?
CleanFlorida is pet-friendly, and many pets remain at home during service. You know your pet best, so choose the arrangement that keeps the pet, technician, and home safe.
Please introduce dogs during the first visit when possible and tell us about anxiety, guarding, biting, escape behavior, or areas the pet should not enter. Pets that are aggressive, highly anxious, or likely to escape should be secured in a crate, closed room, yard, or another safe location during the cleaning.
Can you clean homes with dogs, cats, and pet hair?
Yes. CleanFlorida regularly cleans homes with dogs, cats, and other household pets. Pet hair, tracked-in dirt, nose prints, litter dust, and dander may require additional time depending on the number of pets and the level of buildup.
Weekly or biweekly service is often the best schedule for pet households. Providing a well-maintained household vacuum can also help us address pet hair while reducing allergen transfer between homes.
QUALITY, DAMAGE, AND CONCERNS
Does CleanFlorida guarantee its cleaning service?
Yes. CleanFlorida backs its work with a 200% Happiness Guarantee. If something included in the agreed cleaning was missed or not completed properly, contact us within 24 hours of the service.
We will review the concern and arrange an appropriate correction. Clear, prompt feedback gives us the best opportunity to inspect the issue, coach the team, and make it right.
What should I do if I am unhappy with my cleaning?
Contact the CleanFlorida office within 24 hours and tell us specifically what was missed or did not meet expectations. Photos are helpful when available.
Please do not wait until the next scheduled cleaning. Prompt communication allows us to address the concern while the service is still fresh and determine whether a return visit, coaching, or another solution is appropriate.
What happens if something is damaged during the cleaning?
CleanFlorida treats your home with care, but accidents can happen. Report any suspected damage to our office promptly so we can review the circumstances and determine the appropriate next step.
CleanFlorida carries business insurance and may repair, replace, or reimburse an item when responsibility is established and the item is reasonably replaceable. Pre-existing damage, unstable fixtures, improperly hung décor, loose furniture, fragile items, and damage caused by client-provided products may not be covered.
How should I protect valuable or irreplaceable items?
Remove, secure, or clearly identify valuables, heirlooms, fragile décor, collectibles, important documents, medications, weapons, and anything that cannot be replaced.
Use the client intake form to identify no-touch items and special instructions. CleanFlorida does not clean inside curio cabinets or provide detailed handling of priceless art, rare collectibles, or other irreplaceable objects.
What if my home requires more work than expected?
If the condition of the home is significantly different from what was described, the reserved service may not be enough to complete every requested task. The technician or office may contact you to discuss priorities, additional time, a revised service, or stopping the work when the scope is far beyond the estimate.
Our goal is to be transparent rather than rush through unsafe or unrealistic expectations. The most important areas will be addressed first based on the priorities documented for the visit.
