We clean both empty and furnished homes. The amount of furniture and personal belongings in the home may affect the cleaning scope, time, and price.

- Hand-wipe accessible, cleared countertops and backsplash.
- Clean sink, faucets, and accessible fixtures.
- Clean stovetop and burners, with up to two passes where needed.
- Clean accessible appliance exteriors.
- Clean microwave interior and exterior.
- Clean range hood exterior.
- Hand-wipe cabinet and drawer fronts, handles, and accessible edges.

Good to Know: Cabinets and drawers must be emptied before cleaning. Inside ovens and refrigerators are available as add-ons. We do not move appliances or remove stored belongings.
Bathrooms Showers, tubs, toilets, cabinets & floors
- Scrub showers, bathtubs, and accessible tile and grout, up to two passes where needed. See Double-Scrub Policy.
- Clean shower glass and accessible shower-door tracks using the Double-Scrub Approach where needed.
- Clean toilets, including base and safely accessible areas behind.
- Clean sinks, faucets, and cleared countertops.
- Clean mirrors.
- Hand-wipe cabinet and drawer fronts.
- Clean inside empty, accessible cabinets, drawers, and closets. See Wire Shelving note.
- Hand-wipe accessible baseboards.
- Hand-wipe accessible interior doors and door frames.
- Dust accessible light fixtures, ceiling fans, and exhaust cover exteriors.
- Remove accessible cobwebs.
- Vacuum and damp-mop appropriate flooring.
Good to Know: Hard-water deposits, rust, grout discoloration, and permanent staining from mold or hard water—or mold behind caulk and grout—may remain after cleaning. Our service does not include restoration or repairs.
Bedrooms & Closets Closet interiors, shelves, doors, baseboards & floors
- Dust and wipe accessible, cleared surfaces.
- Hand-wipe accessible closet shelves and rods. See Wire Shelving note.
- Clean accessible closet floors.
- Hand-wipe accessible baseboards.
- Hand-wipe accessible interior doors and door frames.
- Dust accessible ceiling fans and light fixture exteriors.
- Dust accessible vent exteriors.
- Remove accessible cobwebs.
- Vacuum carpeting and rugs.
- Vacuum and damp-mop appropriate hard flooring.
- Clean safely reachable areas beneath furniture without moving heavy pieces.
Good to Know: Closets and storage areas must be emptied for complete interior cleaning. We do not pack, unpack, move, or organize personal belongings as part of the standard service.
Living Areas & Common Spaces Detailed dusting, doors, baseboards & floors
- Hand-wipe accessible, reasonably cleared surfaces.
- Dust safe decorative items and accessible furniture surfaces in furnished homes.
- Dust accessible ceiling fans, light fixture exteriors, and vent exteriors.
- Hand-wipe accessible baseboards.
- Hand-wipe accessible interior doors and door frames.
- Remove accessible cobwebs.
- Vacuum accessible upholstery surfaces in furnished homes without removing cushions.
- Vacuum carpeting and rugs.
- Vacuum and damp-mop appropriate hard flooring.
- Clean safely reachable areas beneath furniture without moving heavy pieces.
Good to Know: We do not move heavy furniture, remove abandoned items, or perform restoration work. Furnished homes may require additional cleaning time.
Windows, Sliding Doors & Blinds Interior sills, accessible tracks, shutters & sliding glass doors
- Clean accessible interior window sills and lock ledges.
- Clean both sides of up to two safely accessible sliding glass door panels. Additional panels may be scheduled as an add-on.
- Clean accessible sliding-door tracks; two included in the base rate.
- Dust approved horizontal blinds, including wood blinds.
- Hand-wipe accessible plantation shutters.
- Hand-wipe accessible interior doors and door frames.
Good to Know: Window glass, window tracks, and screens are excluded. Windows remain closed. Vertical and metal blinds are not cleaned. Additional sliding glass door panels may be scheduled separately.
Empty or Furnished? Here's What to Know
We understand that not every move involves an empty house!
Some homes are sold furnished, rented annually with furnishings, or purchased with furniture and household items already in place. We're happy to clean eligible furnished homes, too.
Empty Homes
For the most complete Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning, cabinets, drawers, closets, and other storage spaces should be emptied before our arrival.
This allows our team to clean the accessible interiors as included in your service.
Furnished Homes
Furniture can remain in the home, provided our team can safely access the areas being cleaned.
However, removing dishes, cookware, glassware, food, clothing, and other personal belongings from cabinets, drawers, or closets is not included in the standard cleaning.
Furnished homes may require additional time and cost depending on the cleaning scope.
Need Help With Dishes, Cookware, or Other Belongings?
If you'd like help removing items from kitchen cupboards, cleaning, or organizing, please arrange this with our office in advance. We offer an Organizing Add-On for eligible projects, which requires additional time and cost.
Important: We do not haul away, dispose of, pack, transport, or relocate personal belongings as part of our base-rate cleaning.
Our Double-Scrub Approach
Moving can reveal dirt and buildup that wasn't noticeable before, especially in kitchens and bathrooms.
Before cleaning begins, your Deep Clean Specialist will walk through the home, identify areas needing extra attention, and explain what to expect.
Identify the Tough Spots
We'll point out areas with stubborn dirt or buildup.
Give Them Extra Care
These areas receive up to two cleaning passes where needed.
Keep the Whole Home Moving
If buildup doesn't respond after two passes, we'll continue with the rest of the cleaning.
Revisit If Time Allows
We may return to stubborn areas once the scheduled cleaning is complete, if time permits. We do not restore damaged areas.
Cleaning vs. Restoration
Professional cleaning can remove everyday dirt, grease, dust, and some accumulated buildup. However, it cannot always reverse:
- Permanent stains or discoloration.
- Rust or mineral deposits.
- Discolored grout or damaged caulking.
- Etching, scratches, or damaged finishes.
- Paint, stickers, tape residue, or adhesives.
- Damage caused by age, wear, or previous occupants.
Our goal is a thoroughly cleaned home—not to restore damaged surfaces to like-new condition.
Wire Shelving — What to Expect
Wire shelving in pantries, closets, and bathrooms is included for routine dusting or one wipe of accessible, empty shelves.
However, removing accumulated grease, sticky residue, or heavy buildup from wire shelving is not included in your standard Move-In/Move-Out Clean.
If your wire shelving needs detailed scrubbing, please let your CleanFlorida onboarding specialist know before your appointment. We can review the condition and determine whether additional cleaning time and cost are appropriate.
Good to Know: Heavily soiled wire shelving can be extremely time-consuming to clean, and even extensive scrubbing may not restore its original appearance. In some cases, replacing the shelving may be a more practical and affordable option.

Empty Cabinets & Drawers
Interior cleaning is included when storage areas are empty and accessible.
Clear Closets & Storage Spaces
Remove clothing, shoes, boxes, and personal belongings from areas requiring interior cleaning.
Remove Personal Belongings & Unwanted Items
We do not haul away or dispose of furniture, trash piles, or abandoned belongings.
Clear Countertops & Floors
Make cleaning surfaces easily accessible.
Have Appliances Ready
If you've scheduled oven or refrigerator interior cleaning, please follow the preparation instructions provided by our office.
Confirm Access
Make sure gate codes, keys, door codes, and entry instructions are current.
Have Utilities On
Running water, electricity, and working air conditioning are required.
Secure Valuables & Identify Fragile Items
Let us know about loose, damaged, or unstable fixtures.
Tell Us if the Home Is Furnished
Please confirm the home's condition and any additional organizing needs before your appointment.

Please let us know before cleaning day if your home will not be ready as described. This allows us to review the scope and make any necessary scheduling adjustments.
What's Not Included in Your Move-In & Move-Out Clean?
We want you to know exactly what to expect before moving day.
Hauling or removing personal belongings, abandoned furniture, or debris.
Emptying cabinets, drawers, or closets of personal belongings.
Moving heavy furniture or appliances.
Paint, sticker, tape, adhesive residue, or wall-covering removal.
Window glass, window tracks, and screens.
Restoration of permanent stains, rust, grout discoloration, or damaged surfaces.

- Removing, packing, unpacking, transporting, or hauling personal belongings.
- Removing abandoned furniture, trash piles, or construction debris.
- Organizing, sorting, or putting away household items unless separately scheduled.
- Inside ovens and refrigerators unless scheduled as add-ons.
- Vertical and metal blinds.
- Full wall washing.
- Removing crayon or ink marks from walls.
- Carpet or upholstery shampooing and stain treatments.
- Garage cleaning.
- Fixture disassembly, ladder work, and inaccessible high areas.
- Pest infestations, biohazards, or pet/human waste cleanup.
- Cleaning delicate, valuable, or irreplaceable items.
Safety First: Our technicians work from floor level or an approved three-step stool. We do not perform ladder work or disassemble fixtures.
Please Note: Removing personal belongings or debris is not part of our cleaning service. Some additional tasks may be available through separately scheduled add-ons, but hauling and disposal are not offered.
Delicate, Valuable & Irreplaceable Items
We treat your home and belongings with care. However, some items are simply too valuable, delicate, or irreplaceable to risk cleaning.
Please secure fragile, valuable, sentimental, or irreplaceable belongings before your cleaning. Let our office know about any items or unstable fixtures our team should avoid.
Read Our Special Belongings Policy
Our team does not clean:
- Inside curio or display cabinets containing crystal, collectibles, or delicate items.
- Valuable artwork, antiques, heirlooms, or irreplaceable collectibles.
- Pianos and delicate musical instruments.
- Fragile items requiring specialized handling or cleaning products.
Please secure these belongings before your appointment and let our office know about anything our team should avoid.
Please also notify us about loose, unstable, or damaged shelves, mirrors, artwork, light fixtures, and other wall-mounted items.
Need a Little Extra Help?
Some moving situations need more than cleaning alone. These services may be scheduled in advance, subject to availability and additional cost.
Inside Oven Cleaning
Detailed cleaning of the oven interior.
Inside Refrigerator Cleaning
Refrigerator interior cleaning; freezer excluded.
Organizing Assistance
Additional time to remove and organize eligible household items from cabinets, drawers, or storage areas.
Additional Sliding Glass Door Panels
Cleaning beyond the two included panels.
Wall Refresh
Light wall wiping, not full washing or paint/adhesive removal.
Lanai Cleaning
Light cleaning of eligible outdoor living spaces.
Outdoor Kitchen Cleaning
Accessible outdoor kitchen surfaces; grill interior excluded.
What If My Home Needs Additional Cleaning Time?
Every home is different, and sometimes the condition of a property requires more time than originally estimated. During the initial walkthrough, your Deep Clean Specialist will assess the home's condition and identify any significant concerns. If additional cleaning time is needed, our office will contact you to discuss your options.
No Additional Charges Without Your Approval
No additional cleaning time or charges will be added without your approval.
Please remember that additional time does not guarantee removal of permanent stains, surface damage, or buildup that does not respond to professional cleaning.
